>> FAQs
>> What kind of clients do you work with?
I specialize in working with couples and adults navigating life transitions. This might include adjusting to a new marriage, career shifts, relocation, new parenthood, grief, or simply a season of change that feels overwhelming.
>> What is premarital therapy? Do we need to be engaged to start?
Premarital therapy provides a supportive space to strengthen your relationship before marriage. We’ll explore communication patterns, values, conflict resolution, and future planning. You don’t need to be engaged — many couples find it helpful simply as a way to invest in their relationship’s foundation.
>> do you only see couples?
No. While I specialize in couples therapy, I also see individual adults who want support navigating change, stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges.
>> How long are sessions?
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Extended sessions (75–90 minutes) may be available for clients who want more time.
>> How often do we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions, and we adjust over time depending on your goals and needs.
>> Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. If you are unable to attend in-person sessions in Plano, I do offer secure virtual therapy sessions across Texas so you can access support from the comfort of your own home. Please note that due to licensing regulations, you must be located in Texas to be able to access online sessions with me.
>> How do I know if therapy is right for me (or us)?
It’s normal to feel uncertain. If you’re experiencing stress, conflict, or a big life change and want support, therapy can help you feel more grounded and connected. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
>> How much do sessions cost?
Please visit the Pricing tab for more information about rates.
>> Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please check with your provider to confirm coverage.
>> What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged the full session fee.
>> How do we get started?
